About Mark McKenzie

For most of my professional like I have worked in the financial services sector and today I am a leading Subject Matter Expert in financial services regulation and supervision. In 2006 I established my own business, Mark McKenzie Consulting and since then I have successfully managed to remain self-employed. I have worked in more than 20 countries around the world and as such I have developed a unique perspective on life and our pursuit for success and happiness. I am also professional motivational speaker, corporate trainer and youth mentor.

• Mentor for High School and College Students in the Region of Peel, Ontario
• Coordinator and Facilitator of Youth Leadership Programs (YLP) in the Region of Peel, Ontario 
• Coordinator and Facilitator for Leaders Leave Legacies Workshop for High School and College Students and Teachers in the Region of Peel, Ontario
• Advocate against Youth Violence and Human Trafficking in the Greater Toronto Area
• Co-Chair for the School Council of Terry Fox Elementary Public School in Brampton, Dufferin Peel District School Board (DPDSB)

I hold a BSc in Economics and Accounting from the University of the West Indies, Kingston, Jamaica and an MBA in Banking and Finance from the University of Wales, Bangor, Wales. I am married and I three children. I am driven by my compassion for my fellow human beings.
